***Everybody involved full time at the Oasis7 Center will be expected to go through all the Core Curriculum Courses themselves, so they are prepared to eventually lead the courses with others if the opportunity or need arises. We “work out the bugs” and improve the material by going through it together!
The most effective method of study of these materials would be in a live, interactive learning setting. But we expect to also make the “lecture” sections of the courses available as soon as possible in video form on DVD and over the Internet, combined with printable study and discussion guides.

Multimedia Projects
The following projects are currently in various stages of production. Many other topics are envisioned for future productions.
Doctrinal Video Series : Documentary style
A Closer Look at Hell
The teaching that the vast majority of mankind that have ever lived are destined to suffer eternal torment in Hell has held sway in most Christian denominations since shortly after the time of Christ. Although the historical Church of God understanding on this topic has rejected this doctrine, few realize just how powerfully that understanding could be used in evangelism. This video documentary series explores the history and psychology that have been the foundation for the vast mythology that has grown up around the topic. Only when you fully understand why so many have accepted the common doctrine regarding Hell can you most effectively help set minds free from it. Just throwing a few proof texts at those whose minds are in bondage to this hellish doctrine is not going to do the job.
A Closer Look at Hell is aimed at the general public, clearly establishing—through a series of lively segments that examine history, popular mythology, theology, and the Bible—the problems inherent in this doctrine. At the same time, this series can give those who already understand the issues a comprehensive, structured overview of the topic that will equip them to discuss the issues knowledgeably with others.
Times of Refreshing: Introductions to the Weekly Sabbath and Annual Feasts and Holy Days of the Bible
Many Christians are surprised to learn that the biblical Feasts and Holy Days, including
the weekly seventh-
God did not intend these Feasts and Holy Days to be times of solemn, gloomy, boring “religious rituals.” He intended for them to be real Times of Refreshing. He intended for them to be, in one sense, regular “family reunions” of those who call Him Father, and who call Jesus Elder Brother. He intended His people to have fun at these times, rejoicing in many ways including singing, feasting, laughing, enjoying camaraderie among people of all ages. They are not times when just individual families stay in their isolated homes to have small parties, but rather times when all the members of the “Family of God” in an area get together and celebrate.
This video series examines the biblical foundation of the annual cycle of these celebrations, focusing on the lessons of each as they occur during the year. It also introduces a variety of styles of modern celebration of these observances.
Discipleship Video Series
Each One Teach One Discipleship Course: Sixteen-
It is not the goal of these discipleship lessons to make “members” for any organization out of those who study the lessons. The goal is rather to help individuals grow spiritually, and bear fruit as disciples of Christ.
The discipleship lessons of many denominations cover such topics as the life of the denomination’s founder, details of required denominational doctrinal beliefs, prescriptions for approved “life style” (hair lengths, skirt lengths, etc.), and behavioral expectations (How much Bible Study is enough? How much prayer is enough?)
These discipleship lessons do not follow this pattern. These lessons cover broad Biblical principles which are vital for a growing Christian. They are divided into four areas of emphasis:
1. FAITH THAT LOOKS UP: Establishing your faith in God
2. FAITH THAT GROWS UP: Growing in your faith
3. FAITH THAT LIFTS UP: Learning to share your faith
4. FAITH THAT BUILDS UP: Participating in the “Household of faith”
These lessons will enable the student to:
· Understand the basics of faith in God through the Savior Jesus Christ
· Gain assurance as a child of God
· Realize the importance of spiritual growth and maturity
· Prepare to lead others to faith in God through Jesus
· Prepare for positions of service in the Body of Christ
Although the format of the lessons lends itself to individual, independent study, their ideal use would be in an interactive setting. Students are encouraged to use them as a tool to work with other individuals or small study groups. And after each student has studied the material to aid in his or her own growth as a disciple, each is encouraged to find one or more new people and use the material again in discipling—Each One Teach One.
