Pam is the author of the material on
The Oasis website. She has a B.A.
in education magna cum laude from Michigan State University, did graduate work
in education and sociology at MSU, and has been a serious Bible student since
1965.
George is the tech expert who keeps all our computers and software running
and connected to the Internet so that Pam can keep The Oasis and several other
Internet projects going. He has a B.A. in Communication Arts from Michigan State
University, and did graduate work in education and public speaking at MSU. We
have been married for forty years, and have one daughter, Ramona (Mrs. Scott) Leiter, and two grandchildren, Jonathan
(13) and Katie (11).
George's day job is as an
insurance premium auditor, but his evenings and nights are usually spent
searching the Internet for the latest free software, checking E-Bay for the best
computer hardware bargains, and building, fixing, upgrading, and tinkering with
computers for family and friends. His latest projects have involved adding
audio-visual equipment and software to his repertoire to help Pam in creating
audio-visual materials of Bible Study and Inspirational topics.
Pam has done writing, editing, research, and speaking for a number of
independent Christian ministries for the past 15 years. She has also presented
lectures and seminars on a wide variety of Biblical, inspirational, and Christian
living subjects to church groups throughout the country. In addition, she has done extensive research on the history of religious
movements of the past two hundred years. Much of this research can be seen on:
